Islam is the fastest growing religion in the UK and its legal system – Shariah also spelled Sharia – is increasingly becoming a part of the UK judicial system. In 2008 the Government sanctioned five Shariah courts to operate in this country, ruling on a range of civil matters including financial disputes and divorce. The rulings of these courts are now enforceable in theEnglish Legal System. British Courts can now enforce Shariah judgements!
At first glance, one would say that allowing Shariah courts in the UK for family and financial matters would do little harm.and as their courts at the moment are supposed to stand, I suppose that this is true. They only have 5 courts sanctioned. This is not true, there is now a Shariah court in every major city in the UK (Not Sanctioned( Plus there are many smaller courts that have been set up by local communities.
Many Muslims have little or no respect for British law, some of them do not even recognise the British Legal system, they only recognise Shariah.
The people who are pushing for these courts in Britain, now that they have a small foothold, will now be campaigning for mow powers, and I believe, as time goes by, little by little they will gain more and more power and jurisdiction, until they are near to equal of a UK court.
You may not believe this, but think, It is the ideal of every religion to grow and expand. Muslims are doing this by stealth, they are slowly but surely getting a bigger foothold in all areas of the UK in politics, law, and business
Their sole aim is to turn the UK into an Islamic country. They have patience, and in time I believe the way things are going they will achieve this aim.

Years ago, when you heard a politician stating their case, you were moved, they spoke with a passion. They held their audience captive, in the palm of their hand. Their voice would rise to a peak reverberating through the hall. There would be cheers and applause full of admiration.
Sadly, nowadays in British politics, that has all gone. All we get is some career politician blandly reciting what he was taught at university, or what his party have told him to say. It seems that they do not really believe the spin that they are pushing upon us.
No wonder the people of today are not voting, No wonder as soon as someone brings up politics they are slammed.
Who in gods name wants to sit there nowadays listening to some over educated, or in some case undereducated idiot droning on about how they are going to fix the economy.
WE want to be moved.
I say this to all of you MPs and wannabee parliamentarians, Get up off your backsides and speak with passion, with resolve and most of all sincerity. Then and only then will believe in you.

After my last posting of the theory that the volcanic ash cloud disrupting and grounding flights over most of Europe, where I received much criticism from people, some recent news suggests that there is a distinct possibility that I may have been right. I really did not believe my original report (HERE) but considered that it is something that really should be questioned. The recent news says that
modern jet engines could cope with 2000 micrograms of ash per cubic metre of air – a level well above that at which ash is usually visible.
At Manchester University, Dr Grant Allen examined the data from the Dornier and found the highest concentrations above the UK were in the order of just 100 micrograms – one twentieth of the safe limit.
Another alarming piece of news is that one of the key officials at the centre of the fiasco is the met office chairman Robert Napier who spent eight years running the Worldwide fund for nature. He turned this organisation from protection for endangered species, to lobbying for tougher climate change measures. He also confesses that he knows nothing about aviation.
Dame Deirdrie Hutton the part time chairman for CAA also knows nothing about aeroplanes and who used to run the foods standards agency was recently accused of “Exaggerating” health and safety concerns. Also Chief Exec of CAA only experience with transport is with trains, nothing to do with flights at all., or for that matter with the effects of volcanic ash and aeroplanes.

After the UK air traffic ban was lifted in the wake of the volcanic ash cloud, rumours are circulating that the whole thing was a massive hoax to see how far that our governments could flex their muscle.The Ban was only lifted above the uk after Willie Walsh the British Airways boss called the governments bluff and demanded that 26 aircraft that he sent towards the UK be allowed to land. He said: ‘I don’t believe it was necessary to impose a blanket ban on all UK airspace last Thursday.
‘My personal belief is that we could have safely continued operating for a period of time.’
Last night there were suspicions that Transport Secretary Lord Adonis had been ‘bounced’ into action by Mr Walsh in an effort to avoid an embarrassing showdown in the run up to the General Election.
The people of the UK were warned to stay indoors if they have breathing problems, but there has been very little if no signs of any ash reported.
Following the Mt St Helens volcano in North America, flight restrictions were only local and that eruption was much bigger than the one in Iceland.
There has been some thoughts that the ban could be a test to see how the lack of flights impacts on emissions in the environment.

With the first election debate over and Nick Clegg is basking in his glory of winning a mediocre and long winded round one of the election debates. I think that it is important to point out a few of the Liberal Democrat policies. Ye, he did seem a charismatic young politician, with new ideas and he did seem at first fairly sincere and honest. I am sure that he is all of these. (Putting aside the overly rehearsed body language) But this does not make a good government, or does it mean that his policies are right and what this country needs.
The first of his ideas that I want to bring up is Giving an amnesty to all illegal immigrants.
Is this really what you, the British People want to vote for? Have we not had enough of Gordon Browns open door policy, Do we really want to vote for someone to allow people to stay here who have broken the law? These people are the ones who have been refused visas, these are the people who are illegally taking jobs away from British people, and Nick Clegg wants to reward them for this. Okay, it;s your vote.
2nd item is Joining The EU. Yes, this is another of Nicks agendas, Have we not had enough of Labour signing away our power and sovereignty with the Lisbon treaty? Now this young fool wants to pass over the power of one of the best and strongest economies of the world to the EU. WE are, despite the recession and what you read in the press is one of the most powerful countries in the world, it needs to stay that way, entrusting the economy of this country over to the EU is simply ludicrous., Yet another stab in the back for our democratic rights.
3rd Scrapping Trident. I for one, would dearly love there to be no nukes, but sadly there is. Thanks to the shaky way the world is today with Iran and North Korea, getting closer to having nukes and also making veiled threats to use them, then it is paramount that we are still left with the capability to defend ourselves. I for one do not want to depend on the USA for defence in case some idiotic country decides to use their nukes against us.We have lost enough of our armed forces already.
This is just a few of their policies. Don’t forget he wants to cut 16 billion from the budget IMMEDIATELY and Gordon Brown was complaining about Camerons 6 Billion in cuts, he failed to pick up on the Lib Dems nearly tripling the conservative figure for one reason only, Because, if you do not vote labour, Brown wants YOUR VOTE to go to the Lib Dems, that way he has a better chance of staying in power. That is the reason Brown kept loving it up to Nick Clegg in the debate.

I’m not sure what to make of UKIP. There are times I agree with them, and they seem sensible. Other times, I get a kick out of their humour, including, I confess, when Nigel Farage called Van Rompuy a damp rag. Yes, even though I dislike mudslinging, I do find a little humour, and wit, refreshing, and welcome.
In this case, the tactic worked to bring publicity to UKIP, and it worked to highlight problems with the EU, as in just who is this President of the EU anyway, and who voted for him, how’d he get there? In the UK, we don’t get much news about the EU, and for us older folks, long out of school and college, we’re even more on our own to find out how the EU works.

On this website, you can view how an MEP voted. After looking at it, I wondered about the abstention votes. Did this mean the MEP wasn’t present to vote? I’d like it if this website also showed if abstention means the MEP was absent, or present and chose to abstain for some reason.
What I would also like is MEPs that take the EU seriously while they are MEPs, even if they really do disagree with being in the EU. They are there to represent voters, the people who voted for them, they are being paid to do that. I know, there’s an argument, for any MEP (or MP for that matter) that they’re there for themselves, and/or really working for big business, or special interests. However, we the people vote for them, and so they need to be there doing the job they were elected to do. It’s possibly even more important for smaller parties to be seen to be doing their job there.
Something else I would like to see MEPs do, and this isn’t just UKIP MEPs, it’s all of them, is to stay in touch with the people at home who they are representing, and let us know what bills they are voting on, what each bill is about, and how they are voting and why. The EU feels so removed from the UK, far away, and inaccessible; and so it makes many voters feel suspicious of it, suspicious of its purpose, and motives.

I have just recieved a message on a Yahoo Group that we run (Same Name as this) That the group is a place to “ensnare you into visiting a website run by apologists for the brain-dead BNP scum!” Namely this website.
I must re-iterate, that this could not be further from the truth. This is a place for discussion on ALL SUBJECTS, it is a place for open debate where freedom of speech is encouraged. It is a place where HOPEFULLY a few answers to the problems that this world faces can be resolved.
